1. Install and check the drill pipe, whether there are any abnormalities in the joints and whether the size meets the requirements of use, and take timely measures to deal with the drill pipes that cannot meet the requirements of use, and strictly prohibit the use of those that still cannot meet the requirements after taking measures.
2. Protect the rigid strength of the drill pipe joint surface, it is strictly forbidden to blindly polish the joint comprehensively without measurement, which will destroy its surface hardness, and must be tested with red-tan powder for targeted treatment.
3. For the repair of drill pipe with critical use requirements, choose feasible protection measures, such as drill pipe joint protectors, etc. during installation.
4. Check again whether the joint is complete and the pin hole is smooth during installation, especially whether the piercing pin is intact. The use of piercing pin with swollen head and burr is strictly prohibited, and hammering piercing pin must be carried out with rigid and soft material isolation
5. Disassembly type is strictly forbidden to use the material whose rigidity is greater than that of the piercing pin for striking the piercing pin, and for disassembling the drill pipe, symmetrical striking is required, while symmetrical striking is Z best, and hammering with vigorous equipment in a single direction is strictly forbidden, and forced use is bound to cause hidden damage to the drill pipe and the frame.
6. For the hard to dismantle drill pipe pin, the preferred methods are small grinding wheel grinding, drilling with electric drill, hammering with impact electric hammer, symmetrical rotating blow, followed by electric welding with pin puller dismantling, etc. Oxygen cutting is really needed to protect the integrity of the convex and concave joints as much as possible to ensure that they can be repaired to the original use requirements.
7. The spare drill pipe must be treated well against rust, and for the drill pipe stored for a long time, it must be stored by rolling 180° every week to prevent the loss caused by the natural bending of the storage.
8. Correctly choose the transportation method in transporting the close moving distance, brutal transportation and loading and unloading are strictly prohibited.
